Together, we're shaping beautiful interiors and unforgettable shopping experiences. As a Visual Merchandiser, you'll take charge of designing captivating in-store displays that showcase our stunning product lines.
You'll create environments that inspire customers, reflect our brand's trends, and elevate the shopping experience – all while driving sales and making a tangible impact on our business. You'll also ensure that stores comply with our visual merchandising guidelines, maintaining consistency and quality across all locations.
This role will primarily focus on stores in Queensland, across both the Sleeping Giant and James Lane brands.
Responsibilities
Design Stunning Displays
: Transform our stores with eye-catching visual presentations that highlight trends, promotions, and seasonal themes.
Maintain Visual Excellence
: Ensure our stores look inviting, well-stocked, and uncluttered using merchandising techniques.
Collaborate on Brand Storytelling
: Work closely with the Head of Visual Merchandising to implement and maintain our brand standards.
Drive Sales Through Creativity
: Create environments that not only look amazing but encourage customers to shop and explore.
Work Independently
: Manage your time and responsibilities effectively across multiple locations, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite – essential for creating visuals that support merchandising plans.
Design Experience – previous experience in design is highly valued and will help bring fresh ideas to the role.
Visual Merchandising Expertise – proven experience with Visual Merchandise within the furniture and/or homewares industry is a plus.
Creative Spark – a flair for design and an eye for detail, with the ability to balance aesthetics and functionality.
Can-Do Attitude – a flexible, collaborative approach and a passion for exceeding expectations.
Physical Readiness – comfortable working at heights, independently moving and assembling furniture, as well as lifting items up to 20 kg safely.
Visual Merchandising Knowledge – a solid understanding of VM principles and how to use fixtures effectively.
Self-Motivation – the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
Requirements
Driver's license and your own car to travel between stores in Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sunshine Coast.
Availability for occasional interstate travel to inspire teams and support store openings.
