But enough about us, let's talk about you We are in the market for a self-motivated and experienced individual who is able to lead a team in providing efficient and effective regular maintenance to the streetscapes, parks and reserves within the City of Mandurah.

You lead the team in providing streetscapes, parks and gardens maintenance tasks including: Liaising with the Supervisor to implement a regular gardening schedule.
Implementing correct signage when operating roadside.
Being accountable for quality and standard of work performance, including productivity and safety.
You ensure the proper operation and security of materials, plant and equipment.
You undertake daily regular maintenance and safety inspections of tools and machinery.
You are skilled in traffic management.
You provide on the job training and guidance to employees under supervision.
What can you bring to the team?
Certificate III or IV in Horticulture or Turf Management or equivalent.
Three to five years' experience of developing and maintaining streetscapes, parks and reserves.
Previous experience supervising employees and conducting practical staff training.
Practical experience with horticultural machinery, mowers, and relevant equipment.
Current unrestricted MR (Medium Rigid) class national drivers' licence.
Competent in the use of tablets, smartphones and other electronic devices.
Current White Card.
Current Basic First Aid Certificate.
Current Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) and Traffic Controller Certificate.
As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
The finer details This permanent full time OSE 4 position attracts a salary range of $76,368 to $79,093 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
The position is based at the City's Southern Operations Centre, Country Club Drive, Dawesville.
