About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team based on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with travel to sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance and advice to operations teams to improve work processes and service delivery.
* Develop project documentation including technical reports, scope of works, construction methodologies, and project performance/progress.
* Review project documents for compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
* Implement quality assurance into project delivery.
* Assist with tender documentation, process, and procurement activities.
* Ensure design is completed within expected timeframes and documented accordingly.
* Contribute to the development of a project budget and ensure financial targets are met without compromise to business environment, community, and client satisfaction KPIs.

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (recognised by Engineers Australia).
* Knowledge of Australian electrical Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
* Prior experience as a Project Engineer preferably within the water and/or wastewater industry. Wider Utilities or oil and gas experience is also desirable.
* Strong communication and sub-contractor management skills.
* Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent trade-based certification.
* Demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting including budgeting.
* Time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience with relevant industry standards and specifications.
* Ability to drive quality outcomes in project delivery.
