 
        
        Clinic Manager – Veterinary Clinic (Casual with potential to Part-Time)
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Clinic Manager to join our supportive veterinary team. This casual role (with the opportunity to move into a part-time position of 20–24 hours per week) is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, managing operations, and ensuring a clinic runs smoothly.
While the position is primarily management-focused, flexibility to assist with occasional nursing support during staff shortages is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Culture
 * Lead and support the clinic team in partnership with senior nurses and the business owner
 * Manage staff rosters and holiday coverage to ensure smooth operations
 * Foster a positive, collaborative workplace and support a range of personalities within the clinic
Operations & Systems
 * Oversee clinic accounts and ensure efficient record keeping
 * Maintain accurate leave records and rostering in Deputy
 * Monitor and manage stock levels to keep the clinic well supplied
 * Ensure systems and processes are efficient and support ongoing improvements
 * Assist with payroll processing if required
 * Manage client follow-ups (scheduling surgeries, payments/accounts, complaints, outstanding accounts)
Marketing & Communication
 * Oversee the clinic's marketing and social media presence (day-to-day posting managed by another staff member)
 * Provide input and direction to ensure consistent, professional client communication
Flexibility & Support
 * Provide hands-on nursing support if required during staff shortages
 * Begin transition training in October, with the full role commencing in December
About You
 * Proven experience in veterinary or healthcare practice management (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
 * Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent (highly desirable)
 * Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
 * Confident in rostering, scheduling, and managing accounts
 * Skilled at balancing multiple responsibilities and deadlines
 * Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
 * Flexible, proactive, and hands-on when needed
 * Strong emotional intelligence for handling challenging situations and clients
 * Must be an Australian citizen with full work rights
