Tools n Trade is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Retail Manager to lead our specialist tools and equipment store in Manjimup. This full-time role involves managing staff, stock, suppliers, customer relationships, and driving sales performance.
The position starts April 6, with full handover and training provided until May 1, making this suitable for candidates with strong leadership skills even if product knowledge is still developing.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing and leading a team of up to 4 staff
* Overseeing stock levels, purchasing decisions, and supplier relationships
* Reviewing financials to guide inventory and business decisions
* Providing advice and solutions on tools, pumps, generators, welding equipment and air conditioning (training provided)
* Maintaining strong relationships with VIP and trade customers, including site visits where required
* Following up overdue customer accounts
* Handling customer enquiries and complaints calmly and professionally
* Driving new sales and sourcing new customers locally
* Representing the business at trade nights, supplier events and trade shows
