Join our Commercial Services team as a Hospital Services Assistant! Long Bay Hospital is based in Malabar, NSW.
Long Bay Hospital is a part of Long Bay Correctional Centre, in this position you will be working in a secure environment to maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, distribute meals to patients and provide linen and waste management services.
Duties Include
* Carry out general cleaning & tidiness of kitchen, wards, offices, and specific Ward maintenance.
* Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleaning standards.
* Remove, collect and distribute linen for all wards.
* Clean rooms and beds after patient discharge (terminal clean).
* Remove waste material including contaminated clinical waste.
* Prepare breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
* Prepare and distribute meals and refreshments to inpatients.
