About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Electrical & Electronic Engineer to join the team and contribute across the full lifecycle of product development - from clean-sheet design and prototyping through to verification, validation, manufacturing, and sustainment.
This role will suit someone who is technically curious, thrives in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, and has a strong foundation in electronics and electrical systems, particularly within power electronics and embedded systems.
* Design of digital, analogue, and power electronics for use in advanced systems.
* Draft schematics and PCB layouts, generating design and output documentation.
* Contribute to integration and testing of electronic assemblies.
* Review engineering work including schematics, mockups, and PCB layouts.
* Participate in verification, validation, and troubleshooting of design faults.
* Develop, execute, and report on engineering test activities.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on technical matters.
* Support manufacturing and sustainment engineering activities.
* Assist in lab set-up and participate in field/flight trials as required.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, products, and standards.
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
* 2-6 years of industry experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals, especially power electronics and embedded systems.
* Proficiency with E-CAD tools (ideally Altium Designer).
* Comfortable using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analysers, etc.).
* Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
* High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
* Interest or prior experience in avionics or unmanned systems will be highly regarded.
