Estimator Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a high-profile project that will deliver clean energy to millions of homes for the next 60 years.

The Civil Works Alliance brings together Sizewell C and three international construction companies to achieve this ambitious goal.


About the Role

* Collaborate with the Lead Estimator and Head of Estimating to ensure consistency in estimating approach.
* Work closely with a Lead Estimator or independently to produce estimating documentation, ensuring internal and external assurance.
* Develop estimates from first principles associated with the Sizewell C Project work packages.
* Manage stakeholders to produce accurate estimates, involving planning, procurement, and other key parties.
* Present, negotiate, and justify prices to senior leaders and external customers/partners in an open and honest manner.


Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

* Proficient in Excel and similar software.
* Excellent client-facing/communications skills.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

* Experience using Candy Estimating Software.
* Experience using RIB Cost X Quantification & Estimating Software.
* Knowledge of AACE principles of Estimating Class and associated maturity.
* Mobile and flexible.
