The Role
Reporting into the shift supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift (7am- 7pm & 7pm-7am) the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
* Operating high speed machinery
* Attending to mechanical breakdowns on shift
* Reading & following SOP's
* Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.
* When required:
* provide high level trouble shooting.
* preventative maintenance tasks
* assist in necessary modifications.
* technical assistance to reduce production equipment downtime and spoilage.
* assist in machinery changeovers.
* monitoring machinery and resolving issues
All about you
* Trade Qualified Fitter
* Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
* Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
* Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns.
