- We are currently recruiting for a Full time Reservations Agent. To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, organised with excellent communication and time management skills. Hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
**DUTIES INCLUDE**:
- Ensure that hotel reservation requests are received and processed in a timely, efficient, polite and friendly manner maximising revenue potential by exercising sales skills.
- Responsible for room allocation of guest bookings
- Assist potential guests with their accommodation queries.
- Handle guest queries and complaints.
- Report guest complaints and initiate solution
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Exceptional customer service skills including strong verbal communication, phone etiquette and be able to problem solve.
- Experience working in a similar Guest Services role
- Excellent computer skills - experience using Opera would be advantageous
- Excellent presentation
- Friendly, personable and outgoing
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Ability to communicate across different departments throughout the hotel.
- Must be available to work through school holiday periods.
