This is an exciting time to join Infinite as we continue to grow nationally, offering a dynamic, inclusive, and rewarding environment where you can make a real impact every day.About the RoleJoin the Group Finance Team at Infinite Care providing technical accounting support and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting which will support internal management needs as well as statutory reporting requirements.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide expert accounting guidance on transactions and operational activities, assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for the Group and its subsidiaries, and support a smooth external audit process—all in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.This role is ideal for candidates with a background in audit or financial reporting—potentially from a Big 4 or mid-tier environment—who are seeking broader exposure, a collaborative team culture, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a purpose-driven organisation.Working in a hybrid role may be on offer for the right candidate with WFH potentially 2 days per week and 3 days per week in the office once full training has been provided.Responsibilities include:Managing effective liaisons with internal and external financial stakeholders and banking administrationCollate and review consolidated data and elimination entries contributing to the preparation of monthly financial results for all entitiesEnsure all documentation and reports are reflective of the financial standards, ACFR requirements, tax legislations and organisational policiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly statutory and regulatory reportsPreparation of annual financial statements for statutory complianceProvide input across accounting, control, and process improvementPrepare and compile detailed audit working papers as requested by the CFO and be a lead in liaising with external AuditorsPrepare/review BAS, income tax returns, financial statements, and statutory accounts for the consolidated group.Completion and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsWriting methodology papers on accounting and tax treatment of more complex issues.Experience and application of complex accounting standards like IFRS 16Assist with month end deliverables alongside the Group Finance TeamLiaise with the ATO and external tax advisors and external accounting advisors on any company tax or accounting issuesAs a successful applicant you must have:Accounting, Business, or other tertiary/professional qualification.CA or CPA qualificationExtensive knowledge and practical experience working in a multi-tiered structureStrong understanding of core accounting principles and applicable accounting standardsAbility to work effectively across other departments within the organisationPractical experience with Excel and ERP (Technology One experience will be ideal)Advanced skills in MS ExcelExperienced working in the age care field (desirable)Audit/Tax background within public practice is advantageous.Meticulous with reporting and detailed with any documentationsYou have strong communication skills and would consider communication one of your key strengthsA positive, proactive approach with a focus on seeking out continuous improvement opportunitiesStrong time management and organisation skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise workload.Ideal for first move from Public Practise to a commercial roleThe RewardsSupportive team environment and unique culture to enable you to thrive in your role and have some fun with a collaborative team cultureDiscounted Fitness Passport to access health and wellbeing sessionsEmployee Assistance Program for family, financial and wellbeing support servicesDiscounted retail, fuel novated car lease and technology items via Employee discounts provider – FlareIf you would like to be part of our leading team and have a passion for aged care please apply with aresume & cover letteroutlining your skills and experience, why you are excited about joining Infinite Care, and how you can add value to our organisation.As part of being an Infinite Aged care employee you will be required to complete pre-employment checks, which will include a National Police Check.If you would like to know more about us or this position before applying, then please reach out to our recruitment specialist managing this assignment - email me teri.vallely@infin8care.com.au
