This role manages the end-to-end accounts payable process, credit card reconciliations across six entities, and the shared finance inbox to ensure all queries and requests are actioned promptly.The position supports the finance team by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, assisting with aged receivables management, preparing and processing client invoicing, and contributing to project forecasting, budgeting and plannings.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines and support business objectives.
It also requires reconciling progress claims and payment management both critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial tracking.This role will be based in the Sydney Studio and will report to the Accounting Manager located in the Melbourne Studio.Key responsibilities include:Manage the full accounts payable process, including data entry, approvals, and payment runsPerform credit card reconciliations across six entitiesMonitor and action the shared finance inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responsesMaintain accurate and current financial records in line with company standardsAssist with aged receivables management, including follow-up and reportingSupport the finance team with preparation and processing of client invoicingAssist with project forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysisLiaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries and maintain positive relationshipsContribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance functionSupport Accounting Manager and CFO with daily financial operations and reportingSkills & Experience:Highly skilled verbal and written communicationProficient in MS Office (Excel), XeroDeltek, PIM and Vantage Point (experience desirable but not necessary)Exceptional time management to meet deadlinesAbility to work individually and collaboratively in a teamHigh attention to detail and accuracy with workDemonstrating initiative and problem-solvingCapability to prepare accurate financial reportsAbout You:Bachelor of Accounting (or other relevant qualification) or 2 + years of relevant industry experience.Experience with Deltek Vantage Point preferred but not essentialProficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, along with XeroExcellent communication, whether written, visual, or verbalExceptional organisation, time management and coordinationAbility to work well within a team or independentlyCapability and accuracy in preparing financial reportingWhat We Offer:Work in an award-winning studio with a focus on equity and inclusionWork in a friendly, supportive, fun and creative team environmentOpportunities for career progressionExposure to projects across AustraliaProfessional membershipsEmployee Assistance Program to support mental healthWellness initiatives and social eventsGenerous parental leave policy
