Sales Consultant – Work in Our Stunning Mid-Century Modern Display Home (Full-time) – Lilywood, QLD

About the Role
We're looking for an engaging and motivated Sales Consultant to become a key face of Kiba Built at our Lilywood display home.
It is a specialised role that involves starting the planning and drafting journey of a custom home, guiding clients through the earliest and most important stages of pre-construction.
To succeed in this role, you must have residential construction experience and an understanding of how homes are designed, costed and brought to life.
You'll be helping clients interpret site details, contours, setbacks, covenants, land specifications, zoning, and NCC requirements, long before the build begins.
This is more than sales.
It's about building relationships, shaping someone's future home, and supporting them from first conversation through to contract.
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming walk-in clients and creating a warm, relaxed, highly engaging experience
Showcasing our mid-century modern display home and presenting what makes building with Kiba Built truly special
Managing and generating your own leads to grow your pipeline
Guiding clients throughout the entire sales journey, from first consult through to contract
Interpreting land details including contours, soil tests, orientation, setbacks, and estate requirements
Discussing preliminary design concepts, drafting needs, and build feasibility
Understanding NCC requirements and how they affect a home's design and inclusions
Building strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and genuine care
Confidently closing sales and achieving commission targets
Collaborating closely with our team to ensure a seamless client experience
What We're Looking For
A motivated salesperson with confidence and energy
Residential construction new home sales experience is absolutely mandatory
Minimum 1–2 years of proven sales experience
Strong knowledge of pre-construction processes including:
Reading contours and site plans
Understanding house siting and orientation
Estate guidelines and land specifications
Drafting basics and plan interpretation
NCC requirements and compliance considerations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trust quickly
Ability to work independently and contribute to a tight-knit team
Strong computer literacy: interest in architecture/interiors is highly regarded
Someone who believes in the product, the process, and the community they're representing
Australian work rights required
