This role is designed for a passionate nutritionist who wants to make a real difference in the community. As a Population Health Nutritionist, you will be working in the Health & Wellbeing stream and contributing to evidence-based and innovative programs of work for population health priorities.

* Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will primarily work in the Health & Wellbeing stream and be responsible for collaborating with teams to support the planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and sustainability of preventative health programs for priority populations related to food environments, healthy eating, and active living.
">
* Key Accountabilities
">
The key accountabilities of this role include:
">
1. Supporting the planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting, and sustainability of preventative health programs for priority populations.
2. Collaborating with teams to develop and implement programs that address public health nutrition issues.
3. Conducting assessments and referrals to preventative health programs.

What You'll Need
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
* Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition & Dietetics, eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination particularly relating to population health nutrition issues.
* Understanding of issues that may impact service delivery in priority populations including social disadvantage, Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with other staff and government.
