A vital role exists for an organised and skilled Administration / Accounts Officer, to support our team in the Northern Queensland region.

About the Role
\
This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounts/bookkeeping, who enjoys getting stuck in and helping out wherever required. You will be responsible for:
\
\
* Timely Processing of Monthly Accounts: Ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
\
* Effective Maintenance of Office Systems: Work closely with the Office Manager to maintain Health & Safety and Quality systems.
\
* Efficient Running of the Office: Manage supplies, mail, calls, messages, couriers, photocopying, binding, and general office maintenance.
\
* Accurate Documentation: Record key meetings, including audits, health and safety meetings, and team meetings.
\
* Organisation of Communications and Events: Coordinate staff communications and events.
\
\
Required Skills and Qualifications
\
To be successful in this role, you will need:
\
\
* Previous Experience: A minimum of 2 years working in a professional services office environment.
\
* Accounts and Invoicing Experience: Proven skills in processing monthly accounts, reporting, and reconciliations.
\
* Relevant Qualification: A degree or certification in administration, bookkeeping, business, or a related field.
\
* MYOB Experience: Knowledge of MYOB software is highly desirable.
