Service Technician Position
Serving as a key member of the technical team, this role is responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations across various areas of our organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and end-users.
Key responsibilities include:
* Hardware and software support: troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain PC equipment and software systems.
* Network management: manage network connectivity issues, cabling, and user account administration tasks.
* Collaboration: work closely with analysts and administrators to optimize desktop environments and resolve technical issues.
* Customer service: manage customer requests via ticketing systems and provide exceptional support.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree is preferred.
* At least 2 years of experience in hardware support and maintenance.
* Technical training and certification may substitute experience.
* A solid understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS.
* Proficiency with Office software and network printers.
