Occupational Therapist
Part-time ( 0.4 EFT), maternity leave coverage
Wage dependent on experience (Range: Grade 1 base salary $35.72 per hour – Grade 2 base salary $45.67 per hour)

Latitude Recruitment is proud to be recruiting an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan and direct specific therapeutic supports for our consumers across the areas of Community Health and Clinical Care. This role will require you to use your clinical skills to assist consumers to maximise their occupational performance in personal care, domestic activities of daily living, social, leisure, community and work environments.
Your diverse caseload includes community based consumers, acute inpatients and residential aged care residents. Service is provided across the lifespan and may include the assessment and treatment of paediatric consumers where appropriate. Service is also provided to consumers under a range of funding sources including NDIS, DVA, TAC and WorkSafe.
This position is available on a part-time basis commencing September 2025 for a 12-month period.
The successful candidate will have:
Qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
Sound knowledge of current occupational therapy issues and standards
Demonstrated ability to provide assessment and clinical treatment of referred consumers to achieve agreed goals and outcomes
Demonstrated ability to work with a mixed caseload and an understanding of the process of consultation and referral to regional agencies
Ability to prescribe and arrange the supply of specialised equipment as required
Excellent time management, communication and organisation skills
Current and valid Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one
