Role Overview
The Presales Solutions Senior Consultant plays a key role in driving business growth by supporting sales teams with technical expertise, solution design, and customer engagement. This individual will bridge the gap between customer requirements and the company’s product offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development Support
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and craft tailored solutions.
- Provide strategic input in responding to RFI/RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical workshops.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Solution Design & Technical Consulting
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Develop solution roadmaps, architecture designs, and process flows to support customer adoption.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points to refine sales strategies.
- Create battle cards and competitive intelligence reports to strengthen deal positioning.
- Provide insights to product management teams for feature enhancements based on market demands.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions to enhance customer adoption.
- Gather and relay customer feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Ensure a seamless transition from pre‑sales to implementation by providing comprehensive documentation.
- Support post‑sales activities by clarifying solution commitments and expectations.
- Conversion rate of leads to signed deals.
- Number and value of deals in the pipeline.
- Quality of RFI/RFP responses submitted.
- Customer satisfaction in pre‑sales engagements.Effective collaboration with sales and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid background in IT/products within the banking sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively with C‑level executives, technical teams, and business users.
- Progressive career experience in senior executive roles within banks or large software companies.
- Demonstrated expertise in pre‑sales, particularly with banking products.
- Proficiency in people management and talent development.
- Sound knowledge of market structure and competitive landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with global clients and cross‑functional teams.
