About Us: Beautopia is a leading wholesaler of hair products with a wide variety of brands We require a dedicated and skilled Storeperson to join our Geelong team full time.
Position Overview:
As a senior storeperson your responsibilities will include focus on receiving, storing, distributing products within the warehouse and store. Role also involves pick/packing orders and handling all matters relating to courier pick ups.
You will be working Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 5.00pm with 1/2 hour lunch
Key Responsibilities:
· Receiving and checking off incoming stock
· Safely store excess products in the designated warehouse locations
· Prepare orders for distribution and ensure accurate picking and packing
· Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
· Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
· Computer literate, to book local freight and finalise packing slips in warehouse system
· Restocking of store and advising manager of any out of stock items.
· Delivering orders in local suburbs
Qualifications / Experience
· Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehouse role preferred
· Physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and carrying heavy items (must be able to lift 15-20kg)
· Experience operating material handling equipment ( Pedestrian style pallet jack )
· Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
· Working within a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
· Full drivers license
