About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to lead our monthly reporting processes, drive financial analysis, and coordinate efforts across the broader finance function. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate financial reports that meet both internal and external requirements.
You will be the key point of contact in aligning inputs from other Accountants, ensuring data integrity, and providing meaningful insights to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
 * Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary
 * Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, benchmarking, and preparing board-level reports
 * Coordinate inputs and deliverables from other Accountants to ensure data accuracy and consistency
 * Maintain and enhance internal reporting tools, dashboards, and templates
 * Design and develop site-specific financial reports, dashboards, and financial modelling tools
 * Assist in the preparation of statutory annual financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards including preparation of suitable working papers
 * Provide robust forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to inform decision-making
 * Build and maintain financial models aligned with business needs and future planning
 * Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, internal controls, and system efficiencies
Qualifications & Skills
 * A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
 * CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
 * Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Financial Analyst role (3 years plus preferred)
 * Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and month-end processes
 * Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
 * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong business acumen
 * Excellent communication skills – able to liaise effectively across departments
 * Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems
 * Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
 * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
