Healthcare Professional - Student Wellbeing
The role of the School Nurse is to promote and maintain the health, safety, and wellbeing of students and staff. This involves delivering professional care and health education within a framework that aligns with Catholic values.
The School Nurse works collaboratively with the Student Services Team to address student health and wellbeing issues. This includes providing health promotion, illness prevention, first aid delivery, and wellbeing support across the College community.
This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff.
* Provide healthcare services to students and staff, including administering medication and performing first aid;
* Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff;
* Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to identify and address student health and wellbeing needs;
* Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential health risks;
* Maintain accurate records of student health and wellbeing information.
