Our client, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator to lead and support the clinical delivery at headspace Emerald.This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to join a respected youth mental health service and help shape the future of care for young people aged – in Central Queensland.About the RoleAs the Clinical Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the coordination and delivery of high quality, evidence based clinical services.
You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, support clinical governance, supervise staff and students and contribute directly to service delivery through your own clinical work.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and support across the headspace Emerald teamLead regular clinical and caseload reviews and manage service demandDeliver evidence-based psychological therapies to young peopleEnsure all clinical work meets professional, legal and ethical standardsSupport staff through supervision, development, and a positive team cultureCollaborate with local services and stakeholders to ensure integrated careContribute to accreditation, quality improvement, and data-driven evaluationAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you will be an experienced clinician with leadership capability and a passion for youth mental health.
You will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach to service delivery.Mandatory RequirementsTertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational TherapyFull registration with APHRA or membership with AASWDemonstrated clinical experience supporting young people with mental health needsStrong leadership and supervision skills in a multidisciplinary environmentExperience managing clinical risk and providing high-quality mental health servicesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skillsCurrent Blue Card (Working with Children) and Yellow Card (or eligibility)Full COVID- vaccinationOpen QLD Driver's LicenceWhy Join Our Client?
