Health Care Worker - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Healthcare Professionals to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Health Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role assisting Registered Nurses to ensure holistic care is delivered to our patients at Echuca Regional Health.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with their activities of daily living, including hygiene and mobility
- Participate in delegated aspects of care delivery in relation to the patients plan of nursing care
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents and the multidisciplinary team
- Recognise, report and record incidents promptly, clearly and concisely to the supervising registered nurse
- Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
- Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
Qualifications/experience required
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance/ Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent
- Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written
- Availability for a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
