About the Company: My client is a major player in the Infrastructure industry.
About the Role: The Contract administrator's primary function is to protect the company's commercial interests in the contract with the customer and subcontractor by ensuring compliance with the contract administration requirements.
Main Duties for Civil Construction Contract Administrator:
- Manage notices and claims for variations.
- Handle disruptions, delays, prolongation, compression, and extension of time.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of notices and claims.
- Ensure risks are allocated appropriately in the subcontract between the company and subcontractors, considering the head contract conditions and the control capabilities of each party.
Successful Civil Construction Contract Administrator must have:
- Proven experience in cost management, contract administration, or quantity surveying role.
- Background in civil projects.
- Tertiary qualification: minimum Associate Diploma (engineering preferred) or at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Business understanding and market knowledge in the relevant area.
- Proven skills in dispute resolution and negotiation.
