Job Description
At AECOM, we seek an experienced commercial procurement expert to join our team. As a Commercial Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic market analysis and coordinating delivery model assessments to optimize commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Develop a robust outcome-based commercial strategy aligned with program goals, ensuring a positive impact on the planet and society.
* Lead the full procurement lifecycle, including optimum delivery model planning, early market engagement, sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, award, and post-award contract management.
* Oversee contract drafting, ensuring scope and goals are clear and executable, and enable digital contract management.
* Manage contract changes, ensure commercial value controls are in place to mitigate risk, waste, interface, and integration among and between contracts.
* Shape commercial positions in pursuits; conduct competitor/market analysis to inform strategy.
* Extend existing contracts and frameworks where feasible; enable cross-selling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* A degree in quantity surveying, commerce, law, or a related field.
* + years of commercial/contract management experience in consulting or infrastructure.
* Professional membership or legal/commercial accreditation is desirable.
* Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
* Expertise in contract law and administration; negotiation and claims management.
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
