Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in ensuring our stores provide a positive shopping experience. As a Vehicle Trolley Collection Team Member, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle around the carpark and local area, collecting trolleys and returning them to our in-store trolley bays. You will also work through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and buffing floors, as well as cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving a Coles Services company vehicle around the carpark and local area, collecting trolleys and returning them to our in-store trolley bays – whatever the weather.
* Working through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store.
* Cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications. These include:
* A full unrestricted Australian drivers' license and a safe driving record. You will be required to obtain a full driver license history check.
* Working both indoors and outdoors, you will be trusted to work autonomously and in a group setting.
* A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
* A keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
* A passion for working safely and abiding by Coles Safe Work Practices.
* The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
* Availability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including weekends). We have a variety of shifts available between 5am and 11pm 7 days a week.
