Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, and major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle, and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts over 5 million people annually at more than 500 events, making it a key contributor to the economy.
Venues NSW adopts an integrated approach to our stadiums and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies, and community groups. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Events, this role will be responsible for the successful management of events at Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground. The role ensures all aspects of event planning, implementation, and evaluation are delivered professionally and effectively.
Working closely with other event staff and liaising with relevant sports partners, service providers, contractors, and internal departments, the responsibilities include developing and managing event budgets, contractual obligations, and event settlement processes.
