We are currently seeking an **Infrastructure Services Junior Technical Officer **to support our Defence Base Services contract in **Anglesea Barracks in Hobart.** The Infrastructure Services Technical Officer is responsible for providing technical support to the estate upkeep and project delivery teams as well as manage small projects as required.
**What you will be doing**:
- Maintaining and auditing records for all relevant engineering technical assets.
- Assist in project scoping, quality inspections and HOTO's.
- Coordination of General Estate Works (GEW) under the Defence Contract.
- Arrange site access, including inductions, access to drawings, maps, escorts, permits to work, for in house staff, contractors, and sub-contractors.
- Monitoring the performance of service delivery functions at the service point or base location.
- Triage service requests in line with contractual obligations.
**About you**:
- Relevant Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or trade and equivalency practical experience in related discipline.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated written technical communication and IT skills.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
You must be an **Australian Citizen** and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
