Customer service/shop assistant glenorchy

S & L Bakery Trading as The Cheesecake Shop Glenorchy is looking for a highly motivated person to work in our quick paced cake shop;

This is a casual position, looking for independent and flexible team member, need to be available weekdays from 4pm to 8pm and weekends Saturday 9am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 7pm.

Being the first point of contact for customers, this is an important role and would suit a friendly, well organised individual with a keen eye for detail.
Provide excellent customer service
Setting up the shop front and serving
Customer service – assisting customers with special orders and everyday range
Answering phone calls
Point of Sale System. Perform cash register procedures/transactions
Perform end of day procedures
Follow procedures and operations manual
Replace products in showcase, additionally, rotate showcase products
Maintaining store front
Display recent merchandising material
Rotate stock
Date all products according
Complete training video lessons
Cleaning
Coolroom/Chiller – Rotate stock
Phone calls
StockTake
Assisting Decorators and Baker as required
Maintain Food Safety Plan and Workplace Health & Safety Reports
Liaise with Area Managers and other Support Office personnel
Professionally represent the Organisation, to internal and external customers

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $14.94 – $33.19 per hour
