Rodd & Gunn, a premium menswear retailer, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join their team at their high performing Doncaster Lodge, Doncaster Shopping Centre. This part time role offers the opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic and exceptional retail business.
What you'll be doing
* Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
* Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising
* Provide excellent product knowledge to customers and ensure the store is always well-presented
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies for growth and continuous improvement
* Foster a positive and engaging store culture that reflects the Rodd & Gunn brand
* Assist with training and developing the retail team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar assistant store management role, preferably within the retail or fashion industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive operational improvements
* Genuine passion for the Rodd & Gunn brand and a keen eye for visual merchandising
* Flexible and adaptable, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
