**How will I Help?**
The Head of Product Management role is responsible for the product management functions of BT's Asgard and Panorama Platforms with the key objective to lead a team of specialists across superannuation, pensions, investments and insurance. The role sits within the broader Platforms Product Management team with core focus on the ongoing management of the Platforms product suite ensuring they remain fit for purpose and that products are compliant, competitive, and aligned to strategy positioning.
You will help foster a healthy high-performance culture through improved team engagement, collaboration, satisfaction, and growth. You will also drive and/or contribute to key projects and initiatives as a lead and/or SME working with key stakeholders internally and externally to refine product offering and further develop understanding of the regulatory environment as it relates to platforms product
Other Accountabilities Include; 
- Drive collaboration to develop, document and implement strategies for improvements to the Platforms product suite including working closely with product development, product strategy and distribution to identify opportunities to enhance product offering 
- End-to-end accountability of product suite to deliver outcomes in the long term interest if our customers and business 
- Adherence to policies, procedures and regulation ensuring compliance incidents and breaches are reported and solutions implemented 
- Board engagement to ensure fulfilment of duties as delegated by the relevant Boards including compilation of Board papers and reporting 
- Management and embedment of legislative change for product suite 
- Ownership of Product Lifecycles 
- Understanding member segments and developing proposals to keep the product contemporary 
- Act as an escalation point for the resolution of difficult adviser and service queries across super, pension, and investments 
- Continuously encouraging others to seek opportunities for innovative approaches to meet organisational opportunities and problems 
- Strategic analysis and ongoing industry review to increase current business and/or to expand into new markets; keeping abreast of trends relative to market opportunities and competition 
- Risk management and effective use of key risk management processes in accordance with frameworks and policies together with laws and regulations: including but not limited to issues management, regulatory relationships, customer complaints 
- Management of performance and development of both direct reports and broader team members

**What do I need?**
To be successful you will have the following: 
Experience 
- 10+ years experience in financial services with preference of proven experience in product management/product development 
- Tertiary education in a business or finance related discipline 
- Understanding and knowledge of wealth management products namely superannuation and investments 
- Experience in leadership or similar role within Financial Services industry specifically in areas of superannuation, investments and insurance 
- In-depth knowledge of competitors and industry trends 
- RG146 (desired but not mandatory)

- Project management/project co-ordinator experience with demonstrable experience in delivering business outcome
