About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Resource Staffing Solutions (RSS), you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our Australian client base. This full-time, Perth-based role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the company's overall sales and growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory
* Conduct outbound outreach and follow-ups to generate interest and book meetings
* Present RSS services and solutions to key decision-makers
* Negotiate commercial terms and close new business opportunities
* Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline using CRM systems
* Track sales activity and key performance metrics
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support business development initiatives
* Provide insights and feedback to improve sales processes and market positioning
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with a results-driven mindset
* Solid negotiation and closing skills across medium to complex sales cycles
* Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
* Valid Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
* Current Australian driver's licence
