Project Manager - Communications Infrastructure (Mining & Industrial Projects)
Our client is a leading provider of communications and technology solutions, delivering connectivity and infrastructure projects across mining, resources, and government sectors. With a strong national presence and ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of complex, high-value communications infrastructure projects.
This is a hands‐on role, ideally office‐based in Brisbane, with occasional site travel requirements, supporting both project delivery and in‐house design/fabrication teams. You will be responsible for managing projects from planning to completion, including site‐based builds, contractor coordination, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of communications infrastructure projects, including comms shelters, tower construction, related civil works, and network installations
* Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and contractors across multiple sites
* Coordinate stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and subcontractors
* Ensure site compliance, HSE requirements, and medical clearances are met prior to site access
* Oversee quality control, documentation, and governance to ensure projects meet client standards
* Support the in‐house design and fabrication team, walking through plans and resolving delivery issues
* Monitor projects progress, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure on‐time delivery
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering communications infrastructure projects, preferably in mining or industrial environments
* Experience with comms shelters, towers, or network installations is highly desirable
* Comfortable managing small teams and contractors independently
* Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
* Able to work on‐site as required and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
* Formal qualifications in Project Management or a related field (highly desirable)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools, and reporting systems
