Job Description

You'll work closely with the Medical Workforce team and the Clinical Institute Administration team to deliver high‐quality support across the junior and senior medical workforce. This role ensures efficient, professional administration and smooth day‐to‐day operations within the Clinical Institutes.

The Medical Workforce team is responsible for supporting Epworth's junior doctors, managing credentialing processes, and providing administrative support to the Clinical Institutes. The team is structured into dedicated functions that focus on junior medical staff, senior medical staff, and Clinical Institute administration.

You'll be a values‐driven professional who is committed to high standards of service and operational excellence.

You will demonstrate:

* A strong understanding of, and commitment to, relevant Acts, industrial Agreements, Epworth Healthcare policies, procedures, and the staff Code of Conduct.
* Proven ability to drive and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility, with a customer‐focused approach to service delivery.
* Effective leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support a team, build strong working relationships, collaborate with key stakeholders, and deliver outcomes against agreed targets.
* A high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism, particularly within a health services environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong, positive relationships with Epworth staff, Visiting Medical Officers, practice management teams, external partners, and other health professionals.
* Strong project management skills and the capability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Experience leading a high functioning team
* Demonstrable experience in providing excellent internal customer service and continuous improvement
* Advanced written and spoken communication skills
* Excellent computer skills and sound knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
* Relevant degree/qualification in health administration, business or relevant discipline
