About the House Leader Role
The role of House Leader involves providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, mentoring youth workers, and collaborating with a central team to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Prepare regular reports on each young person's progress.
* Mentor youth workers to enhance their skills and confidence in supporting vulnerable individuals.
* Respond to intake enquiries and work closely with the central team to provide effective support services.
* Develop individualised care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
* Manage daily routines, including household tasks, shopping, and property maintenance claims.
* Organise rosters and schedules for the home, ensuring efficient use of resources.
