Operations Manager Role
We are seeking a motivated Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate our hire operations based out of our Karratha Depot.
The successful candidate will use their strong communication, planning, and organisational skills to manage wet hire operations, build schedules, allocate drivers efficiently, and ensure service excellence and compliance.
This is a residential role and no FIFO options will be considered.
* Manage the coordination of buses / vehicles / equipment for both wet and dry hire, ensuring timely availability and top-quality condition of assets.
* Create safe, compliant, and efficient driving schedules for wet hire bus services.
* Monitor and ensure driver compliance with procedures and fatigue management requirements.
* Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates on vehicle availability, delays, and forward planning.
* Oversee the allocation and maintenance of hire fleet vehicles to meet client requirements.
* Collect and submit relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
* Maintain professional communication with customers and drivers.
* Support the delivery of exceptional service across major off-site bussing tenders and wet hire contracts.
* Be available for after-hours operational emergencies.
* Collaborate with the depot Workshop Manager and admin team for all dry hire operations.
* Nurture strong relationships with high-value customers.
* Pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
