As our team continues to grow, we’re seeking a skilled HR Advisor to lead people and culture initiatives, ensuring our workplace remains compliant, supportive, and engaging across all offices.
The Role
As our HR Advisor, you’ll be the main point of contact for all HR matters across Queensland, supporting approximately 150 staff. You’ll manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on workplace culture.
Please note: This position is office‑based at our Gold Coast location. Working from home is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and seasonal staff.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR systems.
- Provide advice on performance management, conduct, and workplace compliance.
- Interpret and apply Fair Work legislation, awards, and employment contracts.
- Support the development and rollout of HR policies, training, and engagement programs.
- Assist with payroll and remuneration queries in collaboration with the finance team.
- Promote staff wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and support leadership with workforce planning.
About You
You’re a people‑focused skilled with a solid understanding of HR best practice and a proactive, solutions‑driven approach.
You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a HR generalist or advisory role, ideally within professional services or finance.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work legislation, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience within accounting, finance, or taxation environments will be highly regarded.
