Scenic World, one of the Blue Mountains' most iconic visitor destinations, is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Indigenous Tour Guide to join our team. In this casual or full time/part time role, you will deliver immersive and authentic cultural experiences that showcase the rich history, stories and traditions of your own Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage, as well as those of the local area.
As an Indigenous Tour Guide, you will play an essential role in helping visitors connect with Country, deepening their understanding of the traditional custodians of this land.

What you will be doing
* Delivering engaging, educational and culturally informed tours that highlight the significance of the Blue Mountains region.
* Sharing stories, customs and knowledge from your own heritage, as well as local Indigenous history, culture and art, in a respectful and meaningful way.
* Helping visitors develop a deeper appreciation of Indigenous culture and connection to Country.
* Contributing to the development and enhancement of new tour content and cultural experiences.
* Providing exceptional customer service to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable, culturally rich visit.
Desired Skills and Experience
What we are looking for
* A strong connection to, and understanding of, your own Indigenous heritage, culture and traditions, along with a desire to share and honour local cultural knowledge.
* Confident communication and public‐speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Previous experience in cultural interpretation or tour guiding is highly regarded, though not essential.
* A genuine passion for sharing culture, stories and history with visitors from around the world.
* Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied hours as required.
