- Responsible for the verification and validation of the Scope of Work (SOW) and Conditions of the Contract (CoC) in delivering acceptance of the head contract
- Responsible for contract governance including managing and administering the head contract
- Manage, develop and submit any change to the contract via Contract Change Proposals (CCP)
- Managing the flow down of the head contracts to all suppliers
- Manage ownership of Intellectual Property (IP), including IP warranties, including Subcontractor IP Deed.
- Management of Government Furnished Material and Contractor Management Commonwealth Assets inlcuding use, maintenance/calibration/care, assurance and stocktaking as required.
- Manage the technical Data and Software Rights (TDSR) Schedule
- Manage Defence Security Compliance
- Manage deed of guarantee and Indemnity, bank guarantees for mobilisation and performance and any insurances that are required for the project
- Manage any warranty defects or latent defect items
- Manage delays and any liquidated damages
- Manage disputes and termination and resolution of disputes and termination
- Identify and manage commercial risks and liabilities, develop cost-effective means of managing those risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Oversee with issues of foreign exchange, escalation, and payment arrangements
- Prepare negotiating strategies and lead negotiating on commercial issues
