We are looking for a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the safety of guests and employees by maintaining a high level of awareness and vigilance.
* Recording all occurrences on the computer or appropriate book/s and submitting the necessary reports during the shift.
* Providing access as required to various hotel areas and securing the area upon completion.
* Maintaining patrols of the complete building and its perimeter at varying times.
* Documenting and immediately reporting any incident, accident or unusual occurrence.
Qualifications:
* A private Security Individual License with Crowd Control and Security Guard qualification.
* Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
* Flexible availability, including weekends and overnight shifts.
