Job Title: Senior Associate Environmental Scientist
This role is a unique opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead multidisciplinary projects from planning to delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction are met.
* Act as a liaison between clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders, building trust and rapport through excellent communication skills.
* Contribute to business development by preparing compelling proposals, identifying opportunities for growth, and providing expert advice on ecological management, legislation, and threatened species.
* Oversee field-based ecological assessments, including flora and fauna surveys, vegetation mapping, impact assessments, permitting, and long-term monitoring.
Requirements:
* A degree in Ecology or a related discipline is essential.
* Mastery of at least 10 years' experience in ecological consulting or a similar field is required.
* Expertise in flora and fauna survey, assessment, and monitoring is necessary.
* Strong project and stakeholder management skills are vital for delivering client value.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
