Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Manufacturing, designing, and maintaining press tooling
- Producing new tooling to increase productivity
- Using manual machining equipment and CNC machinery
- Operating lathes, milling, surface grinders, rotary machines, cylindrical grinders, pedestal drills etc.
- Maintaining, repairing, and replacing worn or broken parts in press tools
- Operating CAD packages to design and execute manufacturing using CNC machinery
- Complying with OH&S policies
- Trade Certificate in Tooling, Fitting and Machining or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Excellent Bench Fitting skills
- Excelling troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Great communication skills - both written and verbal
