About the Role
Federation University Australia's Federation TAFE is dedicated to delivering quality vocational education and training. Our TAFE Teachers are responsible for delivering and assessing high-quality vocational education and training (VET) programs across all phases of the learning cycle.
This includes managing the entire learning process for students—from initial inquiry to final assessment—using diverse teaching strategies such as recognition of prior learning, online and workplace learning, delivery, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of Global Wind Organisation (GWO-BTT) and nationally accredited modules/units aligned with the roles of Wind Turbine Technician and Turbine Maintenance;
* Plan, prepare, deliver, and assess training programs;
* Monitor, assess, and record student attendance, progress, and results;
* Participate in internal and external contractual audits; and
* Evaluate student teaching and learning resources.
Requirements
You will have the ability to research, develop, and implement innovative and appropriate teaching curricula while effectively utilizing online learning platforms and technologies.
You must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher qualification in adult education, along with a trade qualification in Electrotechnology, Mechanical Fitting, or Automotive, coupled with GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT).
All university positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
