Job Title: Heavy Haulage Truck Driver
Job Description:
This role requires an experienced driver to operate heavy haulage trucks safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating large vehicles, with experience of moving freight over long distances.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of load restraint techniques and be able to work independently. They will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to provide exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate heavy haulage trucks to transport goods over long distances
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition and performance
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers to improve service delivery
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience driving heavy haulage trucks
* Strong understanding of load restraint techniques and vehicle maintenance
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
