J's On The Deck is looking for a friendly and energetic casual chef / cook role leading to a full time position to join the team. Must have previous experience in rapid paced cafe style venue or similar work workplace, must be able to drive between two venue be able to interact with customers appropriately, you must be able to provide a good customer experience.
We Open For Breakfast/ Lunch /
Must be available to work public holidays, weekends, and school holidays.
The Role Will Include
* Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
* Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to innovate and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary culinary trends.
* Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen setting, complying with all health and safety regulations.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Assisting other team members with day-to-day operations of the business.
* Daily weekly Cleaning of kitchen.
