Ansell is looking for a Sr Territory Sales Manager to join our Industrial Sales team. The position is based in Sydney and will cover the territory of NSW South.
In this position, you will play a vital role in:
* Direct territorial responsibility for Ansell’s Industrial market business in NSW (South Region).
* Driving specification and demand of Ansell safety solutions by partnering directly with end‑user organizations, particularly Safety Managers and operational leaders, across key industries.
* Focus on consultative engagement with end users to understand risk, influence product specification, and embed Ansell solutions into customer safety programs creating pull‑through demand via our distributor network.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities
* Build strong, trusted relationships with Safety Managers, National HSE leaders, and site decision‑makers across industries including mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, food processing, construction, government, defence, and utilities.
* Act as a subject‑matter consultant, identifying workplace risks and recommending appropriate Ansell solutions that improve safety outcomes and compliance.
* Drive product specification and standardisation at site, regional, and enterprise level to ensure Ansell products are embedded into customer safety programs.
* Lead end‑user trials, audits, and evaluations to demonstrate business value, risk reduction, and total cost benefits.
* Translate technical product features into clear business outcomes such as injury reduction, productivity improvement, regulatory compliance, and cost control.
* Position Ansell as a long‑term strategic safety partner, not just a product supplier.
* Develop territory plans that prioritise high‑value end‑user opportunities and long‑term account growth via new business and business growth mapping
* Work collaboratively with key distributor partners on a regional & state level to ensure effective execution of our Channel Management Program.
* Focus on end‑user share of wallet growth strategy by aligning Ansell’s full portfolio offering through joint planning and alignment on customer priorities & strategies.
* Regular regional and state upskilling and training for Channel Network on Ansell portfolio especially NPD rollout and aligning to national marketing focus.
* Maintain a disciplined approach to time allocation, with quarterly business reviews, joint calls and lead generation the priority to maximise end user focus.
* Work with the National Channel Manager to ensure Ansell is business‑ready to maximize existing contract renewals and formulate pricing strategies and positioning for regional accounts.
Market & Industry Insight
* Accurate and timely utilization of Ansell selling technologies for reporting, lead generation and conversion tracking via CRM platform.
* Business intelligence hunting, summarizing & sharing of key market information/trends, new projects and competitive activities/initiatives.
* Represent Ansell and network effectively at local territory trade show, exhibition, industry forums and reseller networks.

Knowledge & Experience
Education
* Preferably Undergraduate – Business, or related fields
Job Experience
* Minimum 3+ years of Sales experience, principally in B2B environments;
* Demonstrated selling/channel experience in the Industrial sector;
* Demonstrated experience in consultative selling methodologies;
* Knowledge of industrial distribution networks;
* Sound analytical skills;
* Negotiation skills and commercial acumen;
