Job Description
- Work in Clayton but be willing to travel to 3PL operations in Tullamarine
- Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in procurement processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
- Manage strategic relationship with 3PL provider.
- Oversee import/export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Utilize SAP MM and SD for inventory control and order management.
- Ensure accurate handling and classification of dangerous goods.
- Monitor 3PL performance and drive service improvements.
- Liaise with internal teams on stock levels, replenishment, and delivery timelines.
- Interpret and apply technical inventory terminology across systems and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and cost efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 3PL Manager should have:
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing 3PL relationships in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors
- Solid understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive products
- Expertise in SAP MM and SD modules for inventory and order management
- Familiarity with dangerous goods classifications and handling protocols
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation requirements
- Ability to interpret technical inventory terminology and logistics data
- Track record of ensuring compliance with healthcare and TGA standards
