The Team Tasmanian Government Schools implement the Early Years Learning Framework, the Australian Curriculum from Prep to Year 10 and the Lifting Literacy Priority from Prep to Year 12. Development and Support has a pivotal role in supporting principals, school leaders and teachers in delivering contemporary curriculum’s and implementing the Lifting Literacy priority, to meet the needs of our children and young people. About the Role The Assistant Director has a key role in the strategic leadership and guidance for the successful development, system-wide implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Minimum Schooling Guarantee for reading, in line with the DECYP Lifting Literacy Implementation Plan.
