About the Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, will develop and implement public relations and promotional activities, including media partnerships, to support the Marketing Plan and brand positioning. This role supports revenue streams across the brand, Sales & Marketing, Rooms, and Food & Beverage departments.
Some of the responsibilities include
* Project management of marketing and sales activities
* Enhancing the hotel's online presence and supporting web development
* Developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating marketing communication strategies
* Aligning marketing activities with Hyatt and Park Hyatt standards
* Assisting with annual marketing budgets
* Building relationships with journalists, thought leaders, and influencers in food, travel, and lifestyle sectors
* Managing content development across media platforms ensuring high-quality materials
* Managing crisis communications
* Overseeing the hotel's photographic library and photoshoots
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
* Proven ability in brand positioning and marketing strategies
* Experience managing digital marketing campaigns, including social media
* Knowledge of public relations, media outreach, reputation management, and crisis communication
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to analyze data and marketing metrics
* Creative mindset with attention to detail and aesthetics
