Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon – Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital – 12‐month contract (up to 1.0 FTE)
With 265 beds, Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major health facility in the heart of the beautiful New England / North West region of NSW providing a wide range of high‐quality, patient‐focused care. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to work with the team at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
Our Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons are supported by a team of four permanent Registrars, which in turn is supported by a team of three JMOs. You will be allocated to the department roster duties including: Elective surgery, Trauma theatre, Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinics, daily ward rounds, portion of the on‐call roster, teaching and support of the Registrar team.
Award Rate, temporary VMO or Staff Specialist contracts available for up to 12 months with possible extension. Accommodation and car provided.
